We interviewed recent purchasers at Society Armadale, Joe & Ally.

Before securing your new home at Society Armadale how long had you been looking?
Joe and I initially started looking for a new home around a year ago. Our four children had moved out and our six-bedroom house was too large for just the two of us. We looked at many apartments and townhouses and even a few smaller houses. However, none were to our specifications. Until we came across this property. We found it on a Tuesday evening then bought it Thursday afternoon.

Had you seen any of Bensons Property Group, CHT Architects, SORA Interior Design and Krongold Builders work before?
We previously purchased a Bensons property in Brunswick and know their quality and finishes are always above par. We have also seen properties by Krongold and have been impressed each time.

Why did you decide to choose Society Armadale?
We chose Society as it looks amazing, and the location is perfect for us. We were looking to move out of suburbia and into an area that has more life to it. Everything we need is at our doorstep and the interior of our apartment is exactly my aesthetic to a T, it’s as if I designed it myself.

What attracted you to Armadale?
We were attracted to Armadale as I grew up there. My first house was in Redcourt Avenue from a baby until I was 18 and my grandparents lived on Armadale Street and Wattletree Road. I have a very close connection to the area. I also use Malvern Central for a lot of my shopping.

What is your favourite design element in your new home at Society?
Our favourite design element at Society is the aesthetic of the outside and the internal. Its modern and will not date. It just seems like a very calming place to live. Minimalistic and light filled.
